Head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has denied releasing his squad for the upcoming 2019 AFCON qualifier against Kenya on September 8.

A Black Stars squad list circulated last week with the media claiming it was "LEAKED" . The team had players like Kwadwo Asamoah and three debutantes Obeng Reagan, Joseph Aidoo and Ernest Ohemeng.

The purported official squad had Ayew brothers and Captain Asamoah Gyan dropped but Kwesi Appiah has now denied naming his team.

"The thing is I don't know who brought the list out, we've not brought our list out, hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday the list will be out. But as to who brought the list out I don't know," Kwesi Appiah told Ghanaweb TV on Monday during the launch of the J.A. Kufuor Foundation Cup.
