Ghanaian international André Ayew is no longer a Le Havre player as of Friday, August 1, 2025.

This follows the expiration of his contract.

In a heartfelt farewell message, the club paid tribute to the Ghanaian international, stating:

“Thank you, André. Monster of combativeness, André Ayew was an example for all heaven and navy, he who so well understood the HAC and its audience, Le Havre and its inhabitants. Good luck, André!”

The 35-year-old joined Le Havre in November 2023 as a free agent following his departure from English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

He later re-signed with Le Havre in October 2024 on a one-year contract after his initial deal expired during the summer.

During his time with the club, Ayew played a pivotal role in helping Le Havre avoid relegation, contributing nine goals in 49 appearances across all competitions.
