Leicester City have turned down West Bromich Albion's £9million initial bid for Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp.
Schlupp lost his place at left-back last season to Christian Fuchs, but played the second half of the season in midfield.
But West Brom who are desperate for a left-back are expected improve their bid as head coach, Tony Pulis is believed to be interested of the 23-year-old's power and pace on the flank.
He has three years left on his current deal at the King Power earning a reported £40,000 per week and if the move is complete he can expect to feature prominently for the Baggies next term.
