Liverpool defender, Mamadou Sakho is being investigated by UEFA for failing a drugs test, a statement from the club has revealed.
The 26-year-old France international will thus "not be available" for selection within the investigation period though he is not officially suspended, the statement said.
The player, according to BBC's Ian Dennis, Â is believed to have tested positive for a type of fat burner and has until Tuesday to provide a B sample.
A ban for Sakho will likely rule him out Euro 2016 which starts on June 10 in France.
