The Black Stars B have begun their CHAN qualification with a draw against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
The Black Stars B took the lead in the 17th minute of the game after Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams converted a spot kick.
Ghana went into half time with a lead but that was cancelled in the 58th minute of the 2nd half when the Burkinabe's equalised.
The game turned into Ghana's favour in the 65th minute when Gideon Waja of WAFA scored to restore the one goal advantage and Ghana looked to be on course for a win.
Sawadogo made sure that dream never materialized as he scored in the 85th to tie the game at 2-2.
The team is expected to return to Ghana on Monday and will play the second leg of this fixture on the 20th of August.
