Maidens to play Cameroonian friendly ahead of encounter with Japan

Ghana’s female U-17 side, the Black Maidens who are already in Amman, Jordan for the Women’s World Cup are expected to play a friendly game against their Cameroonian counterparts on Friday before playing their first match at the tournament against Japan on Saturday.

The Maidens are in group D with the U.S and Japan but coach, Evans Adotey says he expects his girls to make it into the second round.

The Maidens won bronze in their last outing at the tournament.
