Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has found the back of the net for the second time in three games for Swiss giants St. Gallen on Friday night when they thumped lower-tier side SC Bruhl by three goals to nothing.

Majeed Ashimeru broke the deadlock for his side in the 20th minute with a decent finish before his teammates Cedric Itten and Nassine Ben Khalifa added two more goals to ensure their victory over SC Bruhl by 3-0.

The former WAFA player also scored against Ragaz in the second pre-season game, a match St. Gallen took Ragaz to the cleaners, winning by ten goals to one.

The Ghanaian international moved to St. Gallen on 27 June 2018 on loan from Austrian side Red Bulls Salzburg.

Majeed Ashimeru spent the last six months of the season on loan at Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger where he excelled by scoring two goals in 15 matches.

Majeed Ashimeru ,20, was splendid for WAFA, registering nine assists before moving to Europe.

Majeed Ashimeru has played for the Local Black Stars before and is looking forward to playing Black Stars proper.
