The Normalization Committee has debunked media reports that having a Masters Degree will be used as a criterion in considering candidates for the Ghana Football Association presidential race.

Several unattributed reports have claimed that the committee has set qualification criteria for interested parties who want to succeed Kwesi Nyantakyi as the President of the Ghana Football Association but the Normalization Committee has fervently denied those reports.

The mack-up news has sparked debates in the country as some football administration bashed the Normalization Committee and described the reports as nonsensical if implemented.

But according to the spokesperson of the Normalization Committee Dan Kwaku Yeboah, the reports are unsubstantiated and force as the Committee has not set such criteria.

''It’s not true. The committee has not set any criteria of that sort. We don’t know where those reports are coming from,'' Yeboah told FootballMadeInGhana

''Wherever those reports are coming from, I don’t know but what I know is that they aren’t coming from the NC.

''In any case, if the reports are attributed to any of the ad-hoc committees, that will be strange because none of those committees is supposed to set criteria for the governance of the FA.''
