Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger faces a huge decision ahead of the trip to Bayern Munich, with Petr Cech and David Ospina both vying for a starting place at the Allianz Arena.

But the boss has settled on Ospina for the clash as Cech is set to be on the bench for Arsenal.

Ospina has started every European game for Arsenal this season, although Cech - the only Champions League winner in Wenger's squad - has been preferred to the Colombian in the Premier League.

Cech has come under scrutiny in recent months after a number of unconvincing performances and Wenger is expected to put his faith in Ospina for the trip to Bavaria.

With his side still 10 points off the pace in the Premier League, Wenger knows this week is pivotal to Arsenal's chances of success this season.

Wednesday's match will be the fourth time in the last five seasons in which Arsenal and Bayern Munich have met in the Champions League.

The Gunners then face a potentially tricky FA Cup tie against non-League Sutton United on the artificial pitch at Gander Green Lane on Monday.

Arsenal suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Munich the last time the two clubs met but Wenger believes his side can claim a positive result in Germany.
