Manchester United's under-fire midfielder Paul Pogba is a summer transfer target for Real Madrid, according to recent reports.

Pogba was recently subbed by Jose Mourinho with his form slightly waning, and The Sun write that Real are monitoring his situation closely.

Reports state that after missing out on their man in 2016, Real are ready to submit an 'audacious bid' at the end of the season in order to bring him to Spain.

It is understood that United have no desire to sell one of their star players though, while Pogba is happy in Manchester and does not intend to leave.

Indeed, there was a smile on the 24-year-old's face on Thursday as he headed out for a meal, wrapped up against the cold with a white hoodie pulled over his head.

The United man took his family to Wing's in Manchester, arriving in his £250,000 Rolls Royce Wraith, and was seen walking alongside his mum Yeo at the end of the night.

He also wore glasses and a cap as he joined his family at the restaurant, which is regularly frequented by footballers of both Manchester United and City.

Pogba joined United in 2016 for a record £89million, and is only his his second year of a five-year contract at Old Trafford.

His arrival has sparked an upturn in form for United, but they remain 16 points behind rivals City in the Premier League table.
