Morocco defied all odds to hold  2010 World Cup winners Spain 2-2 draw in their final group game of the Russia 2018 World Cup.

The Moroccans looked to have snatched a famous victory but the last minute Spain equalizer saw the game end in a draw.

The Spanish were not at their usual best as a mistake from Sergio Ramos allowed lurking Khalid Boutaib who kept his cool and rolled the ball into the net from close range.

Spain quickly responded with a super goal, Andres Iniesta laid the ball off to Isco who shot from close range into the top of the net, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.Morocco held on till a first-half draw.

Spain with a large share of the possession fell to a second goal from the Moroccans in the 81st minute.

Youssef En Nesyri planted a beautiful header into the top right side of the Spanish goal to make it 2-1 to Morocco.

Just when we thought Morocco had snatched a win, Daniel Carvajal, swung a cross into the box which substitutes Iago Aspas magnificently back-heeled into the net to make it 2-2.

Spain topped their group and will play host Russia as second-placed Portugal will also face Uruguay in the round of 16.
