Hearts of Oak coach Hearts of Oak has slammed his side's "fundamental errors" against Legon Cities and called for a big improvement going forward.

After taking the lead on Saturday through Isaac Mensah in the 12th, the Phobians failed to kill the game as they failed to connect the numerous chances that came their way.

Legon Cities upped their game in the second and got rewarded in added time. Osman Amadu who was brought in for Hamza Nasiru in the 68th minute netted the equalizer inside the 92nd minute to break the heart of the away fans who were raring for their first win in 4 matches – having gone winless since January 30.

We are disappointed because we were hoping to win here but we conceded a late goal which is not good for us," he said after the game on Saturday.

"We committed fundamental mistakes which should not have happened but we will go back and revise our note and prepare for our next game," he added.

Hearts of Oak are having a mixed season as they sit 7th on 26 points with 8 games drawn, 6 wins and 4 losses.
