In case you missed it, Zinedine Zidane returned to Real Madrid just 10 months after he left his role as Los Blancos manager.

The Spanish giants reappointed the Frenchman on Monday while ending Santiago Solari's four-month stint as interim manager.

Who could benefit?

The return of the Frenchman could be a win situation for Marcelo, Isco and Keylor Navas. Isco hasn't started a La Liga match since October when Julen Lopetegui was in charge. This could change as the midfielder was a crucial player for Zidane, as he forced himself back to the squad during Zidane's time with good performance.

Marcelo was reportedly on his way out after fans lost faith in him with Sergio Reguilon taking his role at the club. Being one of Zidane's favorites, the lad could be back to the starting XI.

Navas was Madrid's first goalkeeper but the arrival of Thibaut Courtois saw the Costa Rican dropped to the bench. Zidane could have his number one keeper, who stood between the posts in all three Champions League finals reclaim his position.

Losers

Gareth Bale, Florentino Pérez and Chelsea could be on the losing end. Despite Bale shining in the Champions League finals, Zidane rarely used the Welsh man. It could be all over for him after being furious for not starting in the UCL finals.

Perez loves controlling the club but this could not happen anymore as Zidane will be deciding players who stay, the players who leave, any other decisions the club take.

During his stint at Santiago Bernabeu, Zidane was keen to sign Eden Hazard but after leaving the interests cooled down. With Hazard approaching his final year at the Stamford Bridge, Zidane will be keen to acquire the Belgian's services.
