The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Ghanaians travelling to Senegal to take note of new health guidelines.

In a public announcement, the Ministry said vaccinations against diseases such as yellow fever, DPT, measles, and hepatitis A and B are recommended to protect travellers. However, it clarified that these vaccinations are not mandatory for entry into Senegal.

The Ministry encouraged travellers to ensure they are medically prepared before their trip and to follow all health requirements of their destination.

It added that the advisory is aimed at protecting the health and safety of Ghanaians travelling abroad.
