Jamaica won the Olympic 4x100m men relay, their  second in a row, in 37.27 seconds beating Japan's 37.60 and the United States 37.62 to ensure that Usain Bolt, who was running in his last Olympics, got his 'treble treble'.

With Asafa Powell giving the Carribean Islanders a perfect start with lead on America's Mike Rodgers, Yohan Blake keeping Justin Gatlin at bay and Nickel Ashmeade maintaining the lead, the undisputed sprint king typically reduced the final quatre to Bolt-like runaway race.

After the win, Usain Bolt went on his knee, gave the track one final kiss, flattened his hand, then reached down and slapped the white number "3" painted at the starting line.

"There you go, I am the greatest", Bolt said.
