Ghanaian International Thomas Partey found the back of the net to help Atlético Madrid thump Huesca 3-0 on Tuesday night at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in the Laliga Santander.
Thomas Partey was named in the starting lineup by manager Diego Simeone after leaving the Ghanaian midfielder on the bench last weekend.
World Cup winner, Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a fine strike to put the Rojiblancos ahead in the game after being set up by Diego Costa.
Partey doubled the lead for the home side as he unleashed a powerful strike from distance into the far bottom corner in the 30th minute.
Kobe added the third in the 33rd minute as Atletico got the job done in the first half.
Simeone outfit dominated the second half of the game but failed to increase their goal tally. Partey lasted the entire duration of the match.
