U-20 World Cup qualifiers: Black Princesses complete double over Uganda to reach final round

The Black Princesses of Ghana on Saturday made light work of the Young Crested Cranes of Uganda at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Coach Ben Fokuo's charges annihilated Uganda 5-0 following Doris Boaduwaa's double, Rahama Jafaru, Salamatu Abdulai and Evelyn Badu strikes to carry the day.

The win means Ghana have progressed to the next stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers where they will play Ethiopia in the final round after beating Uganda 7-1 on aggregate.

The Princesses have yet to lose a game in the qualifiers having gone four matches without defeat.

Ghana drew goalless with Zambia and beat them 1-0 in the 2nd leg at home during the first round of qualifiers and have completed the double over Uganda.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is slated for Costa Rica in August 2022.
