Former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi has taken swipe at Ghana ahead of the World Cup qualifier playoff later this month.

His dig comes on the back of Ghana's home venue for the clash said to be moved from Cape Coast.

According to reports, the Confederation of African Football is considering moving the Black Stars home venue from Cape Coast Stadium to a neutral venue, Benin, Morocco or Cameroon.

This is a result of the bad state of the Cape Coast Stadium after the Independence Celebration.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) last week filed a petition to FIFA to complain about the poor state of the pitch.

The petition was attached with pictures of the pitch at the Cape Coast Stadium following the celebration of Ghana's 65th Independence on March 6.

CAF officials arrived in Ghana on Sunday and inspected Cape Coast Stadium on Monday. The football governing body in the coming days will make a now on where the game will be played.

However, Daniel Amokachi in a viral video said unlike Ghana, the Moshood Abiola National Stadium to host the second leg tie is ready and in good shape.

“We are all ready but some people are still looking for a venue…”

Ghana will play host to Nigeria on March 25, 2022, before the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.
