With Ghana drawn alongside Egypt, Mali and Uganda in Group D of the AFCON draw and the Stars set to face Egypt at Alexandria in a World Cup qualifier on November 13, Sports Minister, Nii Lantei Vanderpuye reckons Ghana will scoop all three points at stake noting things have taken a bend but not broken.

Hon. Vanderpuye however warned about the threat Uganda posed submitting that after the Stars drawn game in Tamale, he met with the Black Stars Management Committee to chart the way forward noting “what must be done, will be done.”

The Black Stars are hoping to make a fourth consecutive appearance at the World Cup, this time in Russia after featuring in the Germany, South African and Brazil editions but there are fears this campaign lacks the cohesion and unity needed to repeat earlier feats with the mistrust between the Football Association and the Sports Ministry.
