Asante Kotoko extended their lead at the top after recording a victory over rivals King Faisal on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors beat home side king Faisal 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi to revenge the first-round loss to the Isha Allah Boys.
Prosper Narteh's side start the game the better of the two sides and made their early dominance count.

Defender Ibrahim Moro curled a beautiful free-kick into the net in the fourth minute which proved to be the match-winner.

Kotoko maintains their lead at the top with 49 points after Sunday's win.
At the Cosby Awuah Memorial Park, Karela United FC came from a goal down to beat Elmina Sharks 3-1.
Sharks opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Michael Ohene Agyei Asamoah and there were indications of an upset.
However that changed when Emmanuel Dagadu scored for Karela in the 16th minute to make it 1-1.
Emmanuel Boakye Owusu put Karela in front in the 32nd minute before Dagadu scored his second and Karela’s third in the 57th minute to make it 3-1.
