The former Ebusua Dwarfs attacker is looking forward to build on the experience gained in Senegal.

“As an upcoming player, getting to play in my first international tournament says a lot. It will improve me and it will enhance my career going forward,” he told ESPN Africa.

“I look at the team and I can say that we gave off our best during the competition.”

Ghana lost failed to defend their title won two years ago after losing to hosts Senegal 3-1 on penalties after the game finished goalless after 90 minutes and 1-1 after extra time.

Coach Maxwell Konadu and his charges will this week play the return leg of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifier against Burkina Faso, a game the Black Stars must win to qualify for the competition in Cameroon.
