Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris has sent a farewell message on twitter to his former Lorient team mate and Cameroon captain Benjamin Moukandjo after he joined Chinese side Jiangsu Suning.

Waris and Moukandjo were both with French side Lorient last season with the latter being their top scorer.

That however could not prevent the club from being relegated from the French Ligue 1 and the 28 year Old Cameroonian has now signed a 2-year contract with the Chinese outfit which is managed by former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello.

Waris is also likely to leave but he took the opportunity to wish his comrade well.
