West Ham to secure Andre Ayew for £16million

West Ham are set to complete the signing of Swansea City star Andre Ayew for £16million, a year after they could have landed him for free.

The Hammers have made the offer for the Ghanaian, 26, and Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins will accept the surprise windfall. Forward Ayew was linked with West Ham last summer when his deal ran out at Marseille but they refused to pay his wage demands.

Instead, the player joined Swansea on a free transfer after the his contract with Marseille expired.

Now Slaven Bilic’s side will give Ayew about £75,000 a week to add variety to their attack according to THE SUN.
