Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has paid a visit to the Black Stars ahead of our 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic later today.
Bawumia who began a 3-day campaign tour of the Ashanti region today, took the opportunity to inspire the players ahead of the big clash tonight.
He was accompanied by Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, Minister for Roads and Highways Francis Asenso Boakye, Civil engineer and politician Kwabena and politician and other government officials.
Bawumia urged the players to give their all and make the country proud tonight.
A convincing victory against the Central Africans could take Ghana to the top of the Group I table depending on the outcome of the matches involving Group leaders Madagascar and second placed Comoros.
The match is slated for a 7 pm kick-off.
