One of the discoveries of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, Zimbabwe will face off with Senegal in their second Group B fixture today.

Zimbabwe but for the brilliance of the best player on the continent, Riyad Mahrez were taking Algeria to the cleaners in their first game.

They played some compact football and opened up the defense of Algeria on several occasions in their 2-2 draw.

Zimbabwe now comes face-to-face with leaders of the group Senegal who were 2-0 winners over Tunisia and the game promises to be exciting.

They would be a very hard nut to crack for Sadio Mane and his Senegalese side as they would fight for the three points in order to stay in the competition.

Senegal would also be hoping for a win in tonight’s game to secure a place in the next stage of the competition ahead of their final group game against Algeria.

Meanwhile, Algeria would come against Tunisia in the first game of the day with both teams looking forward to a win.

Tunisia might be facing early exit if they are defeated while Algeria would also be in trouble if they slip.

It promises to be another day of exciting football as the competition is gradually taking shape with the big teams trying to get wins over the smaller teams who are also making a mark in the competition.
