Facebook’s CEO has demised as false, the speculations that he will be running for President of the United states.

Speaking to a journalist, Mr. Zuckerberg said he is "focused on building our community at Facebook and working on the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative."

The recent news about his possible entry into politics was provoked by the 32-year-old billionaire tech CEO’s recent political comment followed by an announcement of a US states tour.

Earlier last year, Fortune disclosed that the global social network company had agreed to changes in its structures to provide Mr. Zuckerberg the leverage to run for public office.

Developments that further fans this myth is the recent changes in Mr. Zuckerberg’s attitude towards religion that culminated in a recent Christmas post which had him describe the subject as "very important".

Mr. Zuckerberg, reputed for his claims to be an atheist, is said to be making the maneuvers to further hype his appeal to the predominantly religious families in the country.

Presidential candidates are expected to tour the country in a bid to build-up support for their ambitions.
