CIMG Awards: We are in a generation of transforming society through Marketing - CIMG President

The National President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), Kojo Mattah, says Ghana as a country is in a generation of transforming society through Marketing.

He was speaking at the 30th CIMG Awards which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday, September 27, 2018.

The President delivering his message said "Thirty years in the annals of organization is no mean achievement, and it particularly so with regards to the CIMG awards scheme. This is a generation of transforming our society through Marketing,"

"Through it all, we have dig deep into resources, professional expertise and constant knock on the doors of our valued stakeholders, who along have been of tremendous help through the various roles they have been playing. Within these 30 years, we have witnessed a lot of positive innovation that have defined the ways in which the awards scheme is organised with regards to nomination, evaluation of questionnaires and the declaration of results, all of which have been migrated from the manual to online and it strictly conducted online".

Mr Mattah also took the opportunity to announce that he was bowing out of office as President of CIMG.

"Today marks my last occasion of addressing you as the national president of the CIMG. On a personal level, I am very glad to say the past four years have been very eventful and daunting at the same time."

This year’s awards is been held under the theme "Celebrating 30 years of promoting marketing excellence synergies for the future".
