Radio broadcaster and tourism practitioner Abeiku Santana after receiving his honorary award at the just ended 2018 Pan African Executives Summit Awards disclosed that he will be leaving the media soon to pursue a full-time job in the tourism sector. Â
Over 21 years in the media, Abeiku Santana has announced that he will soon exit from the media. The event held at the Accra International Conference Centre on March 9, 2019, saw a lot of media personalities at the event.
The Pan African Executives Summit award scheme seeks to identify and give proper recognition through conferment of awards to people whose humanitarian acts have given hope to the hopeless and help to the helpless.
The distinguished broadcaster, who doubles as the CEO of KAYA Tours and host of Okay FM's 'drive time' show was awarded the “Most Outstanding Media Personalityâ€.
Receiving the award from award-winning Kumawood actor Kojo Nkansah Lil Win, Abeiku Santana averred that: “I came into the media by accident… I have tried several times to quite the media… I will say bye bye to the media because I’ve found a new love for tourismâ€.
