The death of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng came as a shock to many Ghanaians including celebrities and her fans on social media after news of a demise went viral. 

Most of these Ghanaians took to social media to pay their tribute to the late talented dancehall diva Ebony Reigns.

Today February 8, 2019 marks exactly a year Ghanaians woke up to the rudest shock ever that a young soul was gone, who was none other than lovable Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.

Among the celebrities who tweeted were her replacement Wendy Shay, Lexis Bill, Asamoah Gyan, Afia Schwarzenegger, and DJShiwaawa her official DJ among others.

Death, of course, is a horrible thing and becomes worse when someone is taken at a young age, and yes indeed the death of the late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns shocked everyone because it was least expected since she was not sick prior to her untimely demise.

Countless musicians and actors have passed away at a young age, and Ebony's death was a bitter pill for her management team, family and also her huge fanbase both here in Ghana and abroad.
