Death, of course, is a horrible thing and becomes worse when someone is taken at a young age, and yes indeed the death of the late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns shocked everyone because it was least expected since she was not sick prior to her untimely demise. 

Countless musicians and actors have passed away at a young age, and Ebony's death was a bitter pill for her management team, family and also her huge fanbase both here in Ghana and abroad.

Today February 8, 2019 marks exactly a year Ghanaians woke up to the rudest shock ever that a young soul is gone, who was none other than lovable Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.

PrimeNewsGhana today is remembering the dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns and also look at some of the events captured before her death.


1. Her fashion Style

“I am sexy and crazy and I like to portray it. It’s just the craft, it’s just the kind of person I am and I know my fans are looking for something different, something crazy, something to go home talking about, that’s what I end up giving them.” these are the words of the Ebony Reigns.

The late Ebony Reigns was in the news so many times mostly for her fashion sense, which many labelled as provocative, but that was not always the case.

  

 

2. The prophecies around her death

The mystery of Ebony’s death was under some bizarre circumstances with Pastors claiming that they saw her death ahead of time.

According to the late Ebony Reigns manager Bullet, renowned sound engineer Kaywa saw the death coming and helped them with directions and prayers to avert the situation.

3. Her last moment with her Mother

It was sorrowful after a viral video emerged on social media when Ebony Reigns was captured in a mood of excitement with her mother and some family friends.

Ebony before the accident had gone to visit her mother in Sunyani who had just returned from the UK and she looked super excited not knowing that was her last moment on earth.

4. The last Snap video she did before her demise

The ears of Ghanaians were filled with bad news with death of the late Ebony Reigns, but before her sudden demise, the dancehall diva shared a video of herself singing Stoneboy's "Bawasaaba" which had a line in the song as "where ever you dey I know you missing me" and its obvious Ghanaians and the rest of the world miss the dancehall diva Ebony. Rest In Peace.

 


5. The friends she died with

Ebony died alongside two others when her vehicle in which they were traveling with collided with a VIP bus around 11.30p.m. on February 8, 2018 at Nyamebekyere, near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

The two others who died were the best friend, Franky Kuri and a security man, Atsu Vondee who also happen to be a Military officer.
