Award-winning Ghanaian Kumawood actress, Emelia Brobbey has threatened to sue colleague actress called Safina Haroun for defamation of character in a recent interview she (Safina) granted. 

According to an earlier report, the up and coming actress described Emelia Brobbey as arrogant in an interview she had with GH Page, which Miss Brobbey is unhappy about.

In a statement sent to actress Safina Haroun by Totoe Legal Service, lawyers of Emelia Brobbey, the derogatory comment made about their client has hugely affected her brand as an actress, businesswoman, and a family member.

"Our client instructs us that the defamatory statement you made about her has greatly lowered her reputation as a humble, calm and respectful person among her colleague actors, movie producers, business partners as well as friends and family and has further dampened her brand and career as an actress" 

The lawyers, in the statement of notice further asked Miss Haroun to apologise to Emelia Brobbey before March 12, 2019, else they will sue her for defamation of character.

Safina Haroun was reported to have said in the interview that “she was once bullied by the veteran actress after choosing her as her role model and motivator.” According to the report, ”

Actress Safina Haroun explained that she was very happy over her first encounter with Emelia but she turned all her happiness into sorrows after she humiliated and scolded her as if she wasn’t a human being.
