Ghana’s Most Inspiring Women Awards: Gifty Anti, others win big at maiden event

Veteran broadcaster Gifty Anti, known in current circles as Oheneyere Nana Dansoa, was among many who won awards at the maiden edition of Ghana’s Most Inspiring Women.


Gifty Anti, was adjudged Most Inspiring Woman In Media while Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Barbara Asher Ayisi and Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gifty Twum Ampofoh were honoured for being the Most Inspiring Women Politics.

The maiden edition of the event under the auspices of AfricMedia Galaxy in partnership with Women In Aviation–Ghana Chapter, was to honour women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour.

They were drawn from fields of politics, trade, health, aviation, media, beauty and cosmetology, food and nutrition, and social enterprise and charity in the country.

The awardees were given plaques and citations. Each winner was given a female student to be mentored.
