JCR Organiser for Jean Nelson Aka Hall at the University of Ghana, Damian Dadzie has revealed that actor John Dumelo's Valentine's Day visit to their hall was well planned.

Speaking with Abrantepa on ‘Brunch2Lunch’ on Radio Univers 105.7 FM in Accra, Damien revealed that the decision to visit the rooms of the ladies was not something they (as executives of the JCR) were not aware off, it was part of plans for the Valentine's Day celebration.

He also said John Dumelo was specially invited as the only celebrity to make an appearance at their ‘Epic Valentin's Day’ program.

Damian Dadzie added that because many of the students failed to turn up for the event, they decided to go round with him to the rooms of some ladies and most of the ladies were happy that he came around for the program.

Dumelo after his visit shared a video of the female students hugging him, excited and beaming with smiles, on his Twitter handle.

The actor received a strong backlash from Citi FM's Nana Ama Agyemang Asante as she described John Dumelo's Valentine's Day visit to the ladies in their halls as "predatory" and "gross."

Reacting to Nana Ama's comment, the Hall JCR Organiser said the statement from the presenter was needless and unnecessary.
