What does it really take to build a career in aviation? Ivy is ready to tell the story.
For many young people, aviation begins with a dream: the uniform, the aircraft, the international destinations and the excitement of working in an industry that literally connects the world.
But what happens after the dream?
What does it actually take to get into the industry? What challenges should aspiring aviation professionals expect? What mistakes can be avoided? And what does the journey really look like behind the glamour?
Those are some of the questions that The Take-Off, an intimate aviation mentorship experience, hopes to answer.
At the centre of the experience is Ivy Hammond, founder of NTS Global Aviation and an aviation professional with an impressive 20 years of experience in the industry.
Her journey has given her a front-row seat to the realities, opportunities and challenges of the aviation world.
And now, she is opening up.
The Take-Off is designed to go beyond conventional career seminars. It promises an intimate environment where participants can hear real stories, real talk and real industry insight.
Together with some professionals in the aviation industry, the session will explore aviation careers, industry challenges, networking and mentorship, while giving participants an opportunity to gain practical perspectives.
The philosophy is simple:
DREAM + PREPARE + TAKE OFF.
Whether you're already pursuing an aviation career, considering entering the industry or simply curious about what happens behind the scenes, this could be a conversation worth being part of.
The maiden edition takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Registration is free, but seating is limited!
