Controversial singer, Mzbel has denied ever 'sleeping' with suspended pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Josh Laryea.
Singer and preacher, Josh Laryea was earlier this month withdrawn from his position as the pastor of the Church's Doxa Temple in Accra to allow investigations into an alleged immoral conduct levelled against him.
Not long after the news of Pastor Laryea's suspension became public, on-air pesronality, Afia Schwarzenegger made statements suggesting that the suspended pastor had some time ago forced himself on Mzbel.
Afia Schwarzenegger said about three years ago, Mzbel took her sick son to Laryea for prayers and during which pastor started fondling Mzbel and eventually forced himself on her.
She claimed that when Mzbel reported the alleged assault to the ICGC authorities, they did not believe her and said that she probably tried to seduce the pastor, this made her to quit the church.
Mzbel however denies Pastor Laryea slept with her.
Speaking on Peace Fm's Entertainment Review Show on Thursday, she said the embattled pastor rather did "something" with gospel artiste Eugene Zuta’s wife — Awo Zuta.
“Let me make it clear; Josh Laryea never slept with me or raped me. The whole mess was caused by Awo Zuta, Eugene Zuta’s wife. Awo told me herself about some things going on between her and Pastor Josh,†she said, adding that “So I reported Awo’s claims to her husband, who even told me he suspected something was going on between his wife and Pastor Laryea. When Eugene confronted his wife, she denied ever telling me anything. She said I was the one trying to break their marriage. So Josh Laryea, together with Eugene and Awo Zuta kicked me out of the church.â€
