Late veteran actor known Mac Jordan Amartey who kicked the bucket on 5th July 2018 at the Kole-Bu Teaching Hospital has been laid to rest.

The funeral held at the  forecourt of the Statehouse in Accra on Saturday 8th September 2018 saw family, friends, industry players paying their last respect to the fallen hero.

Some old actors and actresses spotted at the funeral were in shock at the low attendance of the veteran's funeral.

Actress Gloria Sarfo on social media expressed shocked at the turnout after she came to pay her farewell to the late veteran actor.

PrimeNewsGhana sighted a live video streaming on the actress' Instagram page speaking with deep emotions as she saw a very low turnout at the funeral grounds at the State House.

President Of Ghana’s Actors Guild Sam Fiscian was unhappy as he tasked actors and actress to support each other in times like this and also encouraged them to love each other. 

Gloria Sarfo added that this is the time the family needed to see the love the Ghanaian movie industry would show to the late actor. 

Some industry players spotted at the veteran's funeral were Grace Omaboe, Fred Amugi, Gloria Sarfo, Ghana Actor’s Guild Executives and President Sam Fiscian ,Louis Saah among others
