 West Africa SHS, WASS has dismissed defending champions Prempeh College and Krobo girls from the ongoing National Science and Maths quiz.
West Africa SHS will clash with 2016 NSMQ winner Adisadel College and two-time NSMQ winner, St. Peters SHS in the final stage of the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz
At the end of the contest, Prempeh College had 45pts, Krobo Girls' 29pts and West Africa SHS WASS, 52pts.
With the introduction of the GCB Bank's Money Zone, each point of the competing schools at the semi-final stage is worth Ten Ghana Cedis(GHS10), which will be paid out to each of the three contestants and their teacher.
Prempeh College received GHS1800, while Krobo Girls' SHS received GHS1160 and West Africa SHS, WASS took home GHS2080.
The Grand Finale of the NSMQ 2018 will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the Accra International Conference centre.
