18-year-old Odai Nathaniel has been arrested by the Nsawam Police for stabbing a 27-year-old man to death.

The body of the deceased – Robert Zaglago – has been deposited at the Police Hospital Mortuary for preservation and Autopsy.

Reports indicate that a quarrel ensued between the two Saturday evening which in the process the suspect pulled a pair of scissors and stabbed the deceased multiple times and left him unconscious amidst profuse bleeding.

Two residents -Adzo Ahadzi and Stephen Boateng – upon their return from Accra around 5:30am on Sunday July 20, 2019, to Djankrom a suburb of Nsawam where the incident happened, found the deceased in a pool of blood.

Upon interrogation, the deceased who had regained consciousness told them that Odai Nathanael stabbed him severally with scissors.

He was swiftly taken to Nsawam Government Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead shortly on arrival.
The two managed to arrest the suspect and handed him over to the Police.

Police later visited Nsawam Government Hospital and saw the deceased lying on a stretcher. The body was carefully examined and three different stab wounds were found at the back of his left leg.

The body was conveyed from Nsawam Government Hospital and deposited at the Police Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

Police have meanwhile retrieved the scissors used for the dastardly act as an exhibit for prosecution.
