Driver runs after killing 2 brothers, injuring 3 others in accident

Two brothers, Kelvin Arthur, 12, and  Samuel Donkoh, 8, met their untimely deaths on Sunday, August 14, in Takoradi in a bizzare accident around the Nkroful-Apollo bypass.

Kelvin and Samuel, according to reports, were killed after run his Mitsubishi Pick-Up into a stationary taxi which had been stopped by the children and their mother.

The pick-up after runniing into the taxi somersaulted and rammed into a nearby shop, injuring the occupants of the shop in the process also.

The driver, identified as Dela Affum reportedly bolted after the accident and is been sought by the Western Regional Police Command.

 

 

The bodies of the deceased were sent to the Effiankwanta hospital morgue whilst the injured are receiving treatment, Joy FM's Kobina Whajah reported.

The driver was said to have accompanied the injured persons to the hospital but bolted before the police came to the hospital.

The Kwesimintim Police have promised to track him down.
