Saturday evening's fire affected parts of the hotel which serve as offices for Amansan TV, GN Bank and other subsidiaries of Groupe Nduom.

The fire which blazed for over three hours took a combined team of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) and Air Force to bring it under control.

According to a statement released by the management of the hotel, the inferno was started by a malfunctioning air condition which sparked fire.
