The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the availability of scholarships for short-term capacity building training programmes and tertiary education in various fields of study.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the Ministry explained that the scholarships are made possible through its diplomatic engagements and are aimed at benefiting qualified Ghanaians.
To make the process accessible to all interested individuals, the Ministry confirmed that the necessary links and details for the capacity building training programmes have been uploaded to its official website. Interested Ghanaians are encouraged to either visit the Ministry’s website at https://mfa.gov.gh/ to apply for the available training programmes in accordance with published guidelines or to contact the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat for further scholarship opportunities.
The Ministry also noted that, in addition to its own initiatives, it transmits scholarships received from partner countries directly to the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat to be awarded to qualified candidates. For specific inquiries regarding the opportunities, applicants may send an email to ipab@mfa.gov.gh.
Itcautioned the general public against engaging with intermediaries. The announcement stressed the importance of relying solely on official information originating from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat to ensure fair access to a training programme or scholarship.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality public service to the nation.
