The Ministry of Health has announced that it will begin recruiting the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists who have completed their housemanship and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council.
In a public announcement issued on July 2, the Ministry said the online recruitment exercise will officially open on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Eligible applicants are required to apply through the Ministry's recruitment portal at https://mohrecruitment.com, where they will be able to select their preferred districts for posting.
The Ministry stated that available positions are within the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Ahmadiyya Health Service, and the Mental Health Authority.
Applicants have until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to complete and submit their applications.
The Ministry also announced that members of the 34th and 35th batches who previously applied but were not posted may participate in the current exercise. However, they will only be considered for postings within their originally assigned regions, provided vacancies exist.
It further assured applicants that the recruitment process would be conducted fairly and transparently, cautioning them against paying money to anyone claiming to facilitate recruitment.
"The recruitment process remains transparent," the Ministry said, urging applicants to ignore individuals who demand payment or promise to influence the outcome of the exercise.
The Ministry called on all eligible medical officers and dentists to follow the official application procedures and meet the stipulated deadline.
