Archbishop Duncan-Williams says he does not hate or discriminate against homosexuals.

The renowned man of God who is the founder of Action Chapel says he thinks those who engage in such acts have a challenge which all must help to solve.

Speaking on the Joy Super Morning show he said: "Based on the bible there is no place for lesbians and gays in the church, I don't hate gays, I believe there are people with that kind of tendencies. In my church, I have talked to one or two people who have told me their challenges and I deal with them, I love them for who they are as human beings even though based on scriptures I disagree with some challenges and problems they have but I don't discriminate, hate or dissassociate with them. I only see their situation as a challenge. I like how some are being honest but I don't go around attacking them, but my believe is based on the bible".

His comments come on the back of the recent controversy surrounding the Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) which was alleged to be part of the basic school curriculum for this year.

The CSE had a portion that gave details about LGBT among others.

Ever since the CSE conversation surfaced, it has received a lot of public backlashes as many think it is not in line with our values and culture.

The Ministry of Education led by Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has denied that the CSE has been included in the curriculum.

But on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the Minister for Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh speaking on Peace FM said Ghana will eventually adopt the CSE programme but will do so in conformity with our culture and values.
