A Man and his girlfriend have been arrested by the Dodowa police for stabbing a Uber driver in attempt to snatch his car.
Police say John Baffour and his 22year old girlfriend Beatrice Naa strangled the driver with a robe as his girlfriend stab the driver in his left arm.
The driver managed to overpower them but the suspects escaped.Â
Dodowa District Police Commander superintendent Harrison Katso said the Uber driver after the struggle reported the case to the police leading to their arrest.
" A male and female hired him from Madina to Dodowa, according to him when they got to Dodowa the male pulled a nylone robe and tied his neck in an attempt stragulate him and in the process the lady used a kitchen knife to stab him twice both tried to snatch the car from him but he managed to overpower them and in the process they two escaped and he came to the station to lodged a complain..."
