The Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) have agreed to meet to enhance consultation in the implementation of the drones for medical supply project.
The GMA called on the government to suspend the deal because it did not engage stakeholders enough before entering the deal.
There has been a lot of controversies ever since parliament approved the deal for the drones for medical supply project.
The Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, the Ghana Medical Association and Zipline under the chairmanship of the Vice-President met today and agreed on that going forward, the MoH and the GMA will engage in a process of enhanced consultation in the process of implementation of the drones for medical supplies project.
