Some suspected armed robbers, numbering about ten, attacked a 28 year-old farmer at Ahemadiya farm at Dromankesse in the Nkoranza North District of Brong Ahafo Region.
The victim, Djato Mohammed, was hired to clear a portion of land belonging to the Ahamadiya Muslims Mission Ghana when the incident happened.
Eye witness, who was also the care taker of the land, Ibrahim Owusu Asante explained to PrimeNewsGhana in an interview that Djato Mohammed was on the farm around 10am on Tuesday September 4, 2018, when some men numbering about ten and on motorbikes stormed the farm.
He said the man who wielded cutlasses and guns approached the victim and warned him to stay off the land because they have been ordered by the chief of the Dromankesse, Nana Danso Abeam, to sack him from the farm.
The victim, who refused to heed to the demands of the men was dragged on the floor and beaten mercilessly.
