The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final opportunity for students with discrepancies between their biodata and institutional records to complete the rectification process.
In a notice dated September 2, 2026, the NSA said students who have already started resolving their biodata discrepancies but require further assistance should visit the NSA Headquarters or the NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Wednesday, September 2 to Friday, September 4, 2026.
The exercise is intended to help affected students align their school records with their Ghana Card details and complete the necessary processes to regularise their records.
The Authority also urged schools and educational institutions that have identified errors in students’ records but have not completed the rectification process to participate in the exercise.
Where applicable, students are required to prepare the necessary Gazette publication, Gazette receipt and affidavit documentation to support the formal rectification process.
The NSA further advised students to ensure that their academic records are consistent with their official identification documents.
It warned that students who fail to resolve their biodata discrepancies by Friday, September 4, 2026, may be unable to undertake their National Service for the year.
The Authority has therefore urged all affected students who have commenced the rectification process but are yet to conclude it to act promptly and make use of the final opportunity.
The NSA also cautioned students against individuals posing as its officials and claiming they can resolve biodata or registration issues for money.
Students were advised not to share personal details or make payments to unauthorised persons and to use only official NSA channels for assistance.
