The National Service Secretariat has postponed the registration date for potential  National service personnel at their prospective centers from Monday, July 17 and 24, 2017.
According to the Management of the Scheme, the postponement has become necessary to enable all stakeholders in the registration process  prepare adequately before its commencement.
In a statement signed by the Acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), stated that the all potential National Service Personnel and the general public should note that the new period of registration would be from Monday, July 24 to Thursday, August 24, 2017, at all NSS registration center across the country.

The statement added that the requirement for registration is students' identification card in addition to any other national ID card be it voters ID, passport drivers' license but excluding National Health Insurance cards.
