The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced that registration for the 2025/2026 service year will open on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and close on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
In a statement, the NSS said all prospective service personnel must register through its newly launched official website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, following the suspension of the old Central Service Management Platform due to data integrity issues.
According to the Scheme, a technical and forensic audit of the previous portal revealed discrepancies, prompting the development of a more secure and transparent digital platform designed to ensure real-time verification and accountability.
The official starting date for all national service personnel to report to their assigned institutions is Saturday, November 1, 2025, with service officially commencing on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The NSS assured personnel that measures have been implemented to prevent payroll fraud and ensure timely payment of allowances through enhanced IT reforms and collaboration with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.
Additionally, the Scheme highlighted new initiatives under its reforms, including partnerships in agriculture, private sector employment, and skills development, aimed at creating more diverse career opportunities for graduates.
