Parliament will resume sitting Tuesday, October 14, 2025, for Third Meeting of the First Session of the 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
The announcement was made by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, in a formal notice issued in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the House.
According to the notice dated Septmeber 29, 2025, proceedings will begin at 2:00 pm at Parliament House in Accra.
Parliament went on recess on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the end of the second meeting of the year, and will resume after a break of more than two months.
The Third Meeting is expected to consider pending bills, reports and other matters of national interest as Members of Parliament return from recess.
Speaker Bagbin’s directive serves as formal notification to Members and the public of the date for the resumption of sittings.
